The recipe of this blend comes from the bean pickers in the region who say that in the lush dense jungles of this part of India, there is a bird known as the Paradise Fly Catcher, from the Monarchidae family of migratory birds, that pecks at different coffee beans.
These birds while chasing the flies pecks at coffee beans too, specifically the ones from the lower height Robusta plantations and carry the particles higher up in the hills to where the world famous Arabica is planted. When it again pecks at the Arabica beans, it leaves the crumbs from their adventurous journey deep inside these beans, which when processed, create a blend that is unmatched in the world.
The story is for believers, whether it’s the shy bird or the skillful cupper is anyone’s guess, but the blend does have something that gives you a subtle hint of lemon with a long finish of Irish hazelnut, that remains after you have brewed the coffee.

Excellent espresso shots. One can also try to brew it with a little bit of cinnamon for a change. An excellent variant.
